Looks like Blackpink's Jennie is all set to make her grand return to the Met Gala! How do we know that? Well, the rapper's makeup artist just dropped a major hint straight from the 2024 Met Gala venue.

Taking to Instagram stories, Jennie's makeup artist joynara dropped a snap of the Met Gala venue. While the stylist didn't write a message, the picture, that feature the banner 'The MET,' was enjoy to confirm fans' suspicions about Jennie's return to fashion's biggest night and get them excited.

For the unversed, Jennie had made her Met Gala debut in 2023. Donning a vintage 1990 Chanel dress to honour Karl Lagerfeld, the SOLO rapper became the talk of the town as soon as she stepped foot on the red carpet. In fact, the Blackpink star was one of the most mentioned person at the Met Gala last year.

About Met Gala

Established in 1948 by fashion publicist Eleanor Lambert, the Met Gala is an annual fundraising gala held for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in Manhattan. Over 600 of world's most famous actors, models, designers, editors and highly influential and powerful people are invited to the prestigious event. This year's Met Gala is being held on May 6.

On the work front

On December 24 last year, just days before YG Entertainment confirmed that all four Blackpink members had decided not to renew their individual contracts with the label, Jennie announced the establishment of her own agency OA (ODD ATELIER). Following her departure, the rapper Jennie dropped Slow Motion with Matt Champion and SPOT with Zico. She is reportedly working on new solo music.
