The Green River Library is excited to add some impressive Utah Rock Art research books to their current selection. The books will not be allowed to check out but can be enjoyed at the library during business hours. The collection will be the Rock Art of the Western United States and some items on rock art located anywhere in the world.

Some of the books include Ancient Encounters by James E. Chatter, The Rocks Begin to Speak by LaVan Martineau, Stone Chisel and Yucca Brush by Ekkehart Malotki and that’s just naming a few. There are also articles about Rock Art includes National Geographic Society Magazine articles of Rock Art in issues from 1928 to 1987, plus Smithsonian Magazines from 2005 & 2006 and Utah Rock Art Research Association Symposium Papers from 1983 to 2004.

The Green River Library is located at 85 South Long Street and is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
