TRAVIS Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly reached an agreement on a new contract that will make him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.
The 34-year-old NFL star was originally signed through the 2025 season.
On Monday, the Chiefs signed Kelce to a two-year extension contract according to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.
The full details of the deal have yet to be revealed.
However, Rapaport noted that Kelce's deal will make him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL.
New York Giants' Darren Waller was the previous holder of the league's highest-paid tight end at $17 million.

Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes shared his excitement to the news on X, formerly Twitter, writing, "I told yall I'll never let him leave!!
"Congrats my guy! @tkelce."
Last season, Kelce was 16 yards short of his eighth straight season of 1,000 or more yards.
He missed the Chiefs' season opener due to a knee injury and rested in the team's last game.

Kelce went on to record four touchdowns in Kansas City's four playoff games as he helped the team win its second straight Super Bowl.
After the Super Bowl win in February, the tight end said he would be back for the chance to three-peat.
Kelce has soared in popularity thanks to his relationship with music icon Taylor Swift.
They started to date last summer as Swift went on to appear at numerous Chiefs games, including all of the team's playoff games.
Kelce's podcast New Heights has also become a hit.
Prior to Monday's extension, an exit from the NFL in 2025 was a possibility for Kelce.
He was originally signed through the 2025 campaign.
Kelce will turn 35 years old in October.
Mahomes and the Chiefs will continue to use Kelce in the passing game.
The veteran posted 93 receptions and 984 yards in 2023 as both marks were the highest on Kansas City.

In 11 NFL seasons, Kelce has 907 receptions for 11,328 yards and 74 touchdowns.
The three-time Super Bowl champion has made four first-team All-Pro teams.
