Airbnb announced Wednesday its collection of “Icons,” specialty overnight stays inspired by different celebrities and pop culture trends.
The vacation rental company unveiled its collection of 11 “extraordinary experiences hosted by the greatest names in music, film, television, art, sports, and more.”
“Icons take you inside worlds that only existed in your imagination – until now,” Brian Chesky, Airbnb co-founder and chief executive officer, said in a statement. “As life becomes increasingly digital, we’re focused on bringing more magic into the real world. With Icons, we’ve created the most extraordinary experiences on Earth.”
These 11 experiences include several unique stays and experiences that are expected to sell out fast, such as:
- staying in the “Up” house in New Mexico
- spending the night in the Ferrari Museum in Italy
- going inside the Professor X’s mansion from “X-Men ‘97″ in Westchester, New York
- hanging out with Kevin Hart
- waking up in the Musée d’Orsay
- experiencing a living room music session with Doja Cat
- staying in Prince’s “Purple Rain” house
- gaming with TikTok creator Khaby Lame
- going on tour with reggaeton artist Feid on his tour bus
- getting an inside look at Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor’s beach house
- spending time with the characters behind “Inside Out 2”
There are more than 4,000 tickets available, and those who are selected will receive a special golden ticket.
All of the experiences are priced less than $100 per guest, but only a limited number of booking requests via the Airbnb app will be selected via a lottery.
