From Staff Reports

Two Caldwell Arts Academy students were chosen as a part of the prestigious 2025 Texas Art Education Association’s (TAEA) Youth Art Month Exhibition.

Art pieces by Anne-Renee Morris and Quinn Squyres will be showcased at the Bullock Museum in Austin now until March 29 and on the museum’s website in recognition of National Youth Art Month.

“Only 100 pieces are chosen statewide by TAEA for this exhibit, and having two of those be from Tyler ISD is phenomenal,” Director of Fine Arts Luke Dean said. “This is just further proof that our students are engaged in high-quality programs, with exceptional teachers that really do get the best out of their students.”

The exhibition provides an opportunity for students to showcase their artistic talents and offers a platform for recognition and celebration. Students, nominated by their teachers, will participate in an awards ceremony at the Bullock Museum in March. Additionally, the Office of the First Lady of Texas curates a selection of artwork from each year’s youth exhibition for display at the Governor’s Business Office for an entire year.

Organized by the Texas Art Education Association, the Youth Art Month Exhibition celebrates artistic achievements from Pre-K through 12th-grade students across the state of Texas.
