‘The Bachelor’ Jesse Palmer Praises Grant & Litia At Finale
The Bachelor host, Jesse Palmer, is praising how Grant Ellis and runner-up, Litia Garr handled the live finale. It was the first time they had seen each other since he had dumped her in the Dominican Republic. Once they reconnected, she held nothing back from him and unleashed how she felt. Jesse Palmer Praises Grant & Litia At Bachelor Finale
The Bachelor finale was one for the books as Grant Ellis was in love with two women. Yet, that was not the highlight, as he did not know whom to propose to. It came down to the wire, and host, Jesse Palmer, told him he needed to decide. They had to know which lady, Litia Garr or Juliana Pasquarosa, to send first to get broken up with. That ended up being Litia, as she seemed to have too much of a timetable that Grant could not adhere to. He proposed to Juliana as he maintained she gave him butterflies and made him genuinely happy.
Unfortunately for Litia, she felt completely blindsided by this decision. She maintained that he had said she was the one from very early on. More so, he promised her an engagement so she could not understand how he flipped so fast. She and Grant reunited at the live finale, and Litia held his feet to the fire. Jesse understood that Grant was in love with two women and could not hold that back. However, he does not feel Grant having more time would have changed the outcome.
Although Litia felt hurt by The Bachelor, Jesse Palmer respected the way that she handled herself. Moreover, he felt she was very strong when she spoke to Grant Ellis. He also acknowledged how well Grant received what Litia said:
“I was happy that Litia had the opportunity to say what she needed to say to Grant. I thought Grant did a good job of giving Litia the floor and listening.”
He was very silent and just sat while Litia shared her feelings. Grant was not combative and tried to give a sincere apology. Whether or not she believed it is unknown.

It was not easy to watch The Bachelor finale knowing how broken Litia Garr was. Her sweet and kind demeanor drastically changed when she was dumped, and she became a completely different person. Although Jesse Palmer appreciated how Litia and Grant Ellis handled the moment, what did fans have to say?
- He 100% chose the other girl because he’s not truly ready for marriage & kids as soon as Litia’s timeline. She dodged a bullet & did so with class!!
- I think he really admired Litia and wanted to be the right man for her, but he just isn’t. He misled her and took it too far. It was aspirational and not realistic.
- She dodged a bullet. He really played her!
Viewers either felt that Litia dodged a bullet by being dumped or understood why Grant didn’t choose her. However, it did not make what he did any better by wooing her all season.
