DOHA: Nasser Bin Khaled Holding and Mercedes-Benz  announced their partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar) in its 19th Annual Fashion Show “Pendulum” which will be  taking place at The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa on May 3.

The partnership of NBK and Mercedes-Benz is part of their social corporate responsibility to support education, culture and arts, and this partnership with VCUarts Qatar is part of wide range of partnerships with organizations in Qatar.

This unique show, featuring the collections of 25 sophomore, junior, and senior fashion students from VCUarts Qatar, as well as four senior students from the University’s Richmond campus, will take place on May 3, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Pendulum will showcase the individual vision, creativity, and styles of VCUarts Qatar’s students. The collections on show will present an eclectic mix of day to evening looks that reflect the singular aesthetic of each student and their individual concepts. More than 100 garments, ranging from evening wear to children’s wear will be shown at “Pendulum”.   

Nasser Bin Khaled and Mercedes-Benz, along with other companies will present awards to outstanding university and departmental design and academic achievements.  During the show, NBK and Mercedes-Benz will display two of their iconic cars that reflects the innovation of design of the brand, the luxury S Class and the S cabriolet.
