Tom Holland has revealed that he had a cameo for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse that was cut from the final movie. During an interview with Joe.co.uk, Holland noted that he almost appeared in the film and was devastated when it was cut.

“At one point I was supposed to be in it,” Holland said. “There was going to be another Peter Parker. There was like a scene in a train station or something, and it was going to be like an Easter egg. I was going to walk through the background and say like ‘Hey, kid’ or something. Never happened. Heartbroken.”

Holland’s absence didn’t mean a death of Spider-People of course, as Into the Spider-Verse was chock full of such appearances including Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, Peter Parker, and a ton of credits cameos.
