IPIM and the Industrial Association of Macau Organise Macao Companies to Unveil Nearly 300 “Made in Macao, Macao Brand” Products at THAIFEX-Anuga Asia

MACAU, May 30 - THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2025, the largest and most influential food expo in Southeast Asia, will take place in Bangkok, Thailand from 27 to 31 May. The Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), and the Industrial Association of Macau, have established a 126-square-metre “Macao Pavilion” at the event, featuring 22 Macao enterprises showcasing nearly 300 Macao featured products such as baked goods, noodles, coffee, tea, big health products, and wine. Leveraging the platform of THAIFEX-Anuga Asia 2025, this initiative aims to promote “Made in Macao, Macao Brand” products, enhance international exchanges and collaborations, and facilitate Macao enterprises in expanding into the ASEAN and global markets.

THAIFEX Anuga Asia is a global food expo catering to the food and beverage industry worldwide. It is also the largest and most comprehensive fair for food and beverage products in Southeast Asia.

An Immersive, Diverse, and Interactive Experience Aids Macao Enterprises to “Go Global”

At the Macao Pavilion, 30 product experience activities featuring “Made in Macao (MinM)”, “Macao Brand”, “M-Mark Certified”, and “Halal Certified” products will be arranged. These activities include “drink and food tasting”, “Macao breakfast”, and “Macao afternoon tea” experiences, as well as a lucky draw for Macao signature gift blind boxes, offering participants an immersive experience with Macao’s unique style. This initiative also aims to promote the “M-Mark Macao Product Quality Certification”, facilitating the expansion of Macao’s distinctive products both locally and internationally. Simultaneously, the promotion of “Halal Certified” products will instil trust in “Made in Macao, Macao Brand” products, allowing participants to fully appreciate the allure of Macao’s signature food and beverages.

In addition, over 240 business matching meetups are expected to take place between Macao enterprises and the professional buyers from the Southeast Asian market, invited by IPIM, at the Macao Pavilion, creating opportunities for local enterprises to “go global”.

Showcasing Macao’s Strategic Position as a Business Hub

The Macao Pavilion will highlight the benefits of hosting conventions and exhibitions in Macao, Macao’s position as a pivotal commercial and trade co-operation service platform between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, and the favourable business climate and policies of Macao and Hengqin, aiming to enhance the ASEAN market’s awareness of the reinforced Macao-Hengqin integrated development. This effort will further solidify Macao's role as a “Precise Connector”, fostering its position as the “China-PSCs Platform” and opening up new avenues for collaboration.

This year’s “THAIFEX-Anuga Asia” covers an area of 130,000 square metres, more than 3,000 exhibitors from 50 countries or regions will showcase their food and beverage products during this five-day expo.
