CenterPointe will host a free concert series on the second Wednesday of each month from May 8 through Sept. 9. The concerts will feature local artists and food trucks in the WellBeing Garden at CenterPointe’s Campus for Health & WellBeing, 2202 S. 11th St.
The series begins with a performance by The Lightning Bugs on Wednesday, May 8, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The Lightning Bugs are a vocal jazz trio that plays “Moonbeam Swing” inspired by groups such as The Mills Brothers and the Inkspots.
“CenterPointe’s WellBeing concerts bring together all the best parts of music, community and well-being,” says Kristin Walstad, CenterPointe Health & Well-being coordinator. “They are an opportunity to get together as a community to enjoy local music in a beautiful garden.”
There will also be food available to purchase from the Parthenon Food Truck.
